The Cave

The long heard and seen 'The Cave' in SS2....here we go..~
The environment is amazing, they decorate it with some cement plastic and make the whole place like a cave. Firstly, would like to apologize because i left my camera in my car, But would love to get a picture of the place. The alternative? My handphone with a built in of only 2MP camera. haha..You cant complain because it is only 2MP and it was on night mode. They served both Chinese and Western food. We picked the western food and the quality of the food is not as bad as it is described in some blogs. However, if im not mistaken, they had Chinese food instead of western food. Therefore, you should consider what kinda food u might want to order when u are there.

One incident that i dont quite happy about is the miscommunication that happened. We asked the waitress there if the soft drinks mentioned in the menu is bottomless. She said "yes, bottomless". Then we asked, "issit not only available during lunch hour? We can order it now and it is still applicable?" she assured us that it is still applicable . So we ordered one. When i asked for a refill, the local waiter came and took my cup away. After some time, my cup of refilled soft drink is still not served. So asked the same waiter, he said the soft drink that we ordered is not bottomless. He apologized for the mistake. Didnt want to make a big fuss over the soft drink, we just kept quiet. Actually i would love to makea complain but due to it is mr.K's KL gathering dinner, shouldnt leave any bad experience and memories, i decided to keep quiet. SIgh~

Mr. K....u bocor my rahsia...i remember you. TPT u helped him to bocor my rahsia..will also remember you. Ended up...me and pt claimed that we are still a little hungry, but daryl said he is very full. However, we decided to stop by at the nearest mamak stall to have a munch. Daryl, who is already full...ordered two pieces of roti, while pt and i ordered only drinks. What can i say??? The hungry ones drink, the not hungry one eat???

juliana's open house

Senawang, here i come!!!..for the sake of meeting our lovely Juliana at her Raya Open House. We decided to meet up after the Senawang toll as her map is not clearly drawn. haha...

Had our meals...chit chat...Juli showed us the newspaper cuttings on our convo..took one photo..then we left for another mini trip...to the nearby waterfall.

We saw a huge sign " Welcome to the taman ular sawa" ....sounds interesting to them...but not to me.. (i'm afraid of reptiles). Luckily the snake farm is under renovation. phew~ relieved...but still i acted as if i'm wanting to visit the farm ( you cannot disclose your fears to others ...learn this from my past experience during animal behaviour class, where we were asked to observed COCKROACHES). After complaining awhile (must show some disappointments), took some photo...then we cabut to makan seremban siew pau....hehehhe...poor pumpky..sweating like nobody's business..yet have to tahan his anger..because my friends were there. I actually saw him putting up his 'black face'. Cannot tahan ad...i have to say this...He is just not into nature....why am i saying that?? Because the day before, i accompanied him to bowling at Sunway. He 'leaks' as much (err..maybe a little lesser...but still sweat under air-conditioned environment), but he said that is normal because he is doing sports. Ah! okay....but why he got fed-up hiking a little uphill??? Weird!~

We ordered the steamed kirin ebi ....*thumbs up*....

Tough times never last, tough people always do

The thoughts of me losing my masters causes me to lose out my beauty sleep. I was so worried knowing that my supervisors will be mad because of my slow progress in research. He did nagged a little but he appeared to be more helpful this time. He suggested to send me over to a conference by the end of this year to publish whatever results i have. with the condition..i need to pay for my own flight ticket...the rest is on him...well..on the grant..seems like this is the only way...

I just finished my writeup on the abstract...and i MUST work HARD within this two months...he would be expecting to see me at least once a week to discuss on my progress. Now i feel important again to him...as his first student. Sometimes, i wonder if this is all in His plan for me...how much i bragged on him neglecting...blablabla..now i feel welcome again. I thought He was on 'away mode' (quoting from TPT) when all my prayers were in the 'waiting list'. He actually hear me...i pray for wisdom and strength....now i have got so much to study and so many things to do ..to make me wiser and stronger... i believe that with God all things are possible.

Today, TPT sent me a link an article after knowing my problems. Thank you, PT...i know you are not good at comforting...i felt the concern from the every little thing you do. There is this line that has been repeated a few times by Dr.Schuller in the article.. Tough times never last, tough people always do!.. Let's just pray that my tough time will soon be over and i will see myself tougher after this. Amen.

Bad news~

I received a phone call today from my supervisor today. The first thing that came out from him is asking where am i . I thought he need me back but he asked if he could meet me tomorrow. I sensed something is wrong. He told me that we have something urgent to discuss. Then, he delivered a bad news for me. Apparently, somebody in MARDI is doing the same thing like i'm doing...and they found some results. Therefore, if they managed to publish the results, my masters will be gone. I'm worried sick . How can they be doing the same thing like i'm doing? what if they really managed to publish before me...??? what will happen to me??? I cant think of anything else but to pray hard. Let's just pray that i could come up with something like a collaboration or ...whatever....i just want to leave upm as soon as possible with my masters..feeling hopeless right now...wish to sink into his arms...

Memories

It has been ages since my last ride on the ferry from mainland to the island....so many changes...The ride used to cost less than RM1...has now increased to RM1.20??? (sorry..dont remember)...the ferry is so clean...life jackets has been placed neatly in the compartment, the toilet has lesser smell...and they have a smoking room in front. i remember the seats used to be blue in colour...has now be in green....memories...
I have autographs in my bag...and thought this would be the best time to bring all the memories back.....i can even imagine their faces when they wrote the piece for me. Wish i could stay forever in those days...

Review on the 'Aeroline'

Upon arrival at the Chorus Hotel, i saw two aerolines awaiting for passengers. The crew looks quite handsome and pretty. Outer look of the bus is just like in the picture. So, i thought...okay...not bad ..not bad.

But once i go onboard,sigh...BIG disappointment...the seats...the space...sigh!~well, i personally prefer the consortium snoozer way better than this. The seats are not comfortable at all...seats are a little small and not well-cushioned. In conclusion, so 'lau ieaaa'
