Clinic @ Sunway , Penang
A friend of mine recommend me to this place called "Clinic". During my short weekend trip back to Penang, we went there.
This is their bar. Waitress and waiter in nurse uniform.
Their seats are like hospital bed. There are charts and posters of those u see in the clinic or hospital...
Syringe filled with tomato or chilly sauce.
Look at the operation theater light... this restaurant reminds me of the one at Clarke Quay,Singapore. Just that....in this "clinic", almost every 30-45 minutes...there will be some kawaii girls walk in ...selling cigarettes....sigh~ Selling ciggy in CLINIC?? Those girls are young and pretty...dressed up sexy uniform with heavy makeup selling drugs. No wonder they say Girls are devil~! You'll get hooked up and memerized with their beauty, and you fork out money to buy something to kill yourself...Sigh!!! Smokers...wake up!!!

The idea of the "clinic" is very impressive...their deco...and everything...i will give 5 star rating for the creativity and the props.. the food...and the ambient....hmmmm
If you pay an expensive price.. you would expect to get quality food,no?? But this is different...i have no idea...if you are looking for a place to chit chat with your friends..at a comfortable place.. this is NOT the place..seriously....why??? COz i 've been there chit chatting with my friends...drinking and eating exp stuffs...got bitten my mosquitoes...i can even see them flying like a halo on my friend's head while she is talking. I can't stand the sight of mosquitoes!!!

Chilli Padi @ Kuchai Lama
If you are driving around at kuchai Lama...i'm not sure if you can see this...because the location of this shop is at....somewhere. Okay.. i forgot...i only it is a corner lot. Behind it is a chinese "kopitiam". LOL.You must be thinking how silly i am telling people a place that i don't even know it myself. LOL... don't bother.
Okay...this restaurant is a Malay restaurant. It is decent looking from the outside, that is why we picked this place for dinner that night
Not many diners there...most probably because not many ppl know of this place. Its location is not strategic at all. Sigh~
They serve local cuisine....chinese food, nasi lemak, roti canai (is there roti canai??)...etc. The thing that caught my attention is this......
Tadaaa... guess what is this light made of.....
Teacups...!! Unique... I have never seen something like this before (jakun). At least this is something creative and unusual to find in a restaurant?
We had.....
Sze chuan soup...
So So So bad. So sour like they accidentally spilt the whole bottle of vinegar into it. Don't like..
Nasi Bojari. The chicken is a little too salty but it goes well with the rice. The rice...of coz not as nice as Mdm Kwan's, but still acceptable.
Nasi Lemak!! I like the nasi lemak. Although it is not the best nasi lemak i ever had, but there is nothing to complain abt, in which i think it is good...isnt it?

Daidomon@ Jln Ampang
Daidomon is at 3rd Floor of Great Eastern Mall. They are having two promotions that is RM43.90++ and RM88++. The cheaper one you will be entitled to get a scallop and oyster. No wagyu. However, if you are taking the more expensive package....you have access to all food in the menu. That is not all... you will be having a complimentary soft shelled crab and prawn tempura. Since the 5 of us is taking the higher package, we have a complimentary red wine.
Everything served are raw... so, you can choose to cook it or take it raw!~
Sounds good, right?? The main reason for us to be there is the wagyu beef. You guys know how expensive that is, and with only RM88++.... i can get as much as i can. wink wink
One ques : How much can you eat???
The first plate of wagyu beef....wow... they really melt in your mouth. I kid you NOT~ If you are wondering how can the meat melt in your mouth? Simple!!! Coz they have more fats than any ordinary beef. Due to this reason, you can't take much of wagyu. At most, 5-6 pieces....then you will be waving the WHITE FLAG!!
The soft shelled crab and the tempura prawn?? Soooooo filling.... after taking those... you will be at 40%. Adding in the wagyu and some ox tongue.....you will be 80%. BURp!~ 20% for the scallop and the oyster lor.... Here i must emphasize that the scallops and oysters are so darn HUGE!~ Ichiban neh!~
From the picture, the oysters are in the hot pan, the round white stuffs are the scallops...huge, rite?? Right below the hotpan is the wagyu. The rest are the mixed sashimi, ox tongue, lamb belly, ostrich meat, edamame and some cooked food.
Variety of food?? Pls look at the menu, that is all they have.....sigh...disappointed~
Sausages?? serious??!~
Fruits.... basically, you will only order things from the first three pages. You may ignore the rest. BElieve me...that is all in the menu...only 5 pages.
As for drinks, they have only 4 types, green tea (hot/cold), lychee, orange and guava.
This is me and Caren , trying out the smile detection...didnt work well for 6 shots...and here....as you can see...i am already screaming..."Aaaahhh....why like that???!~"
Total bill....RM102 per head...inclusive of 10% service charge and 5 % government tax. I would think it is not really that worth it with that much of variety. The merit will be... you get to eat extra ordinary stuffs in which you don't see in normal japanese buffet. Your choice~ This will be my first and my last time there~
Caught in the act~
This is not only a restaurant, they are selling some stuffs like grandfather clock, some deco and lamps. This Mr. Sampat...is caught doing unproper stuffs in public. If that is the fengshui ball rolling in the water....i bet you will be banned from this restaurant. Erm...but i dont think he cares...lol

Bumbu Desa @ The Curve
We walked past a new restaurant Bumbu Desa @ the Curve and decided to give it a try. This restaurant serves indonesian cuisine.
The concept is a little different from the others. We were sitted for more than 5 minutes and yet nobody served us. No menu...no nothing. We observed what the other customers did and do exactly the same. That is to walk to the counter, where they display all their food ( like in the pasar malam). This is funny, they should at least put a "self- service" sign somewhere.
All photos are taken using iphone...
We would love to try some new stuffs...those names that we have not heard before, but the appearance.....erm......not so appetizing...so we are good for those more well-presented, rather than well-named (or weird name or whatever...).
This is P. Kornet ( RM4.90). This is like fried mash potato...it is a little too salty for me.
Ayam Panggang (RM 8.90)
Rendang Daging ( RM8.90)....too salty
White rice
Gulai Daun singk (RM 4.90)
Sambal 1
Sambal 2
Sambal 3..... forgotten to snap...too spicy....D thought i have transformed into a goldfish...with my mouth opening and closing...gasping for air....
There are 3 types of sambal on the display table..., in which we thought it is free, but it is not. They charged 2.50 for it. I think, they really should put the price there, right below the name.
This is SURELY our last time... i'm sorry...but it is way too expensive for a normal indon- style economy rice. Moreover, they are just too salty.....and the service is bad. Prolly because mainly they are all from indon....so, they are afraid to communicate??...Then why the hell the boss hire all Indons in the restaurant?? How would i know it is a pasar malam self service style in a well decorated restaurant?? Erghh...
Frustrated!~
