I-City @ Klang

Read abt I-City in the newspaper, so we went to a little adventure. Without doing any research, no google map, we just blindly follow our instincts. Haha...of coz we did ask around...but somehow not many ppl know abt it. Maybe it is still a new township. Took the wrong turning...going in circles...loosing out like a headless chicken btw Klang and Shah Alam. Well, i'm still not sure if I-City is in Klang or Shah Alam. Indeed, that's adventure....I love it~ Going on a little adventure with a group of friends is FUN!!!

It is written in the newspaper that there will be snow until 10.30pm. When we arrived, we were 25 minutes too late.

"boy, i missed you kisses,all the time but this is.... twenty five minutes too late.... Though you travelled so far, boy i'm sorry you are Twenty five minutes too late "

We saw a church event...with stage performance and choir going on...The place is kinda empty...only shoplots....and Hey!! Where is the snowman and those reindeers we saw in the newspaper??? We didnt manage to locate those things there... only one giant partially litted christmas tree....then the decorated landscape on the other side.

Pulau Ketam

Last weekend, we went on a trip to Pulau Ketam. Took the KTM from Serdang to KL Sentral then KL sentral-Port Klang.


It is only a short walking distance from the KTM station to the port.Say 5 minutes?....The ferry ticket cost RM7 per way. Damn expensive. We were expecting Langkawi type of ferry....but....



Seriously the photo looks better than the interior. The ferry stinks...It took us abt 40 minutes to reach the island. A ferry attendant (normally an aunty) will be there ...NOT to serve you, but to collect your money. You only pay when you are inside

Upon arriving....this is Pulau Ketam. It is a small, undeveloped fishing island@ market island. We walked into the small town and several seafood restaurants. We picked the restaurant with most locals dining in. There is another seafood restaurant opposite but it is filled with ang mohs, we do not want to be 'sucked dried' and hang like those 'kiam hu' selling...haha......so we choose this...


Crab is the MUST HAVE!! RM28 per kilo..not very cheap, but its okay. we ordered 4 crabs. 2 for dried chilli crab and another 2 for salted egg. RM 10 fried oyster (oo chien). RM16 for deep fried squid and RM 16 for 'kung bao' mantis shrimp and RM10 fried oyster.

After the meal, we walked around the island. No cars or bike found in the island, mean of transport?? *cling cling* that is the sound u will hear behind you if you are on its way. Yes!! Bicycle. If you are thinking that the island is pollution free...best for the weekend getaway?? NO!! There is something in the island that is more than just pollution.


Look at these rubbish. It is found between houses. I even saw banner warning people " You are now in the aedes breeding area". People, if you happen to be there, kill any mosquitoes that you see.


what else is interesting on this island? A mini tortoise pond and a few temples...nothing else....
They are selling those keropok ikan, keropok udang, satay ikan,etc...cheap here...RM10 for 6 packets....

A last minute trip to Batu Caves have to be postponed due to heavy downpour. We do not want to have a fruitless day, hence we headed to Genting Highland. Had our dinner at a Vietnamese Restaurant.

Yup! My new haircut...No! It is NOT cute...it is supposed to be sexy, but turned out to be this...very disappointed...sigh..guess i have to quit snapping photo for months..

Then we walked around the indoor.....found something funny...and we put it on....

Yit Seng looks so much like Dr QC Choo...look at the sleepy eyes and the face..haha...

OKay... i cant breathe in this ...the photographer is taking forever to hit the shutter button...i was trying to convey the msg "Look! if you are not hitting the button yet...i'm going to die." haha

Hahaha.....he looks so funny in this wig...he looks a little like " Mat tai" a Hongkong Comedy show long long time ago. Eh..He looks a little like yitheng in this angle. hahah

Actually the wig is not funny on me. I wonder why...so i have to pose like Phua Chu Kang...to bring out the speciality of the wig...

Zoo Negara

For the sake of 2nd December 2008, i made my biggest lie. Told him that i'm going back for Salwa's wedding and i'm gonna take the whole week off. Therefore last weekend, i couldn't go anywhere...afraid to bump into him or his friends...so, i decided to go to ....THE ZOO~ (the result of watching Madagascar, i guess)..

TGIF

Even dinner at public places is not encouraged. Therefore we decided to go TGIF in PJ old town. (erm..not sure if that is old town or not..hehe). The staffs there are very friendly...

Their starter - Shrimp Martini. Yummilicious~ Must Try~

Peow Yong's main. The vege is awful~ Blend well with the chicken though. Overall, this dish is a little too dry and bland.
Seng's Main. Burger~ Looks like one and tasted like one ...nothing special.

Some whitefish. Tasted like steamed fish with ikan bakar sauce. So -so

Their dessert...some cookies + ice cream~...nice!
